M2Tech AD Converter: The Joplin
M2tech is in korte tijd zeer bekend geworden door met name hun hiFace USB – SPDif converters, maar ook door diverse “aanhangende” apparaten als dacs, klok, batterij voeding etc.
Daar hebben ze nu een AD converter aan toegevoegd.
Een apparaatje dus om analoge signalen om te zetten in digitale signalen. De Joplin 384/32 ADC.
Ik ontving van Marco Manunta wat eerste technische informatie:
Sampling frequency up to 384kHz
Resolution up to 32 bit
Gain 0dB (that is, 1.7Vrms in for 0dBFS) to 65 dB
Signal-to-noise ratio: 110dB (@ 1kHz, A-weighted, 192kHz, 32bit)
USB 2.0, compatible with Windows, MacOs and Linux, no drivers needed for MacOS and Linux
24 built-in eq curves, 17 for microgroove LP, 7 for 78rpm and 4 for reel-to-reel tape! Plus flat, of course.
